Occasionally, SB-CISMA will also be able to treat invasive species on areas that correspond to specific projects.

When we perform any invasive species surveying, monitoring, or treatment on your property, we require that the permission form at the bottom of this page be filled out and sent to us. Forms may be emailed to sbcisma@gmail.com, or mailed to Saginaw Bay CISMA, 4490 W M-61 Standish, MI 48856.

Permitting assistance

If you have an invasive species you need to treat but it is in a wetland area, you need a permit before you can do so. Saginaw Bay CISMA can provide information and assistance to landowners seeking treatment. If you are a homeowner or group of homeowners looking for help with permitting, please fill out the form linked below:

Is your property infested by Spongy Moth Lymantria dispar (formerly known as Gypsy moth)? SB-CISMA is calling on members of the public to record their L. dispar observations using our online surveying system. Your observations help us map infestations, and plan treatment activities.

Fill out an online survey form here to record L. dispar caterpillars or egg masses on your property. SB-CISMA representatives will contact you shortly to set up a thorough survey. Please include any special instructions for accessing the property in the additional comments section.
